So today I finally got the MR2 back after spending about a month in my firend's dad's shop for a mysterious oil leak that finally got fixed. This was also the first time that I had got to drive the MR2 in the snow with proper snow tires and holy shit. Its possibly the greatest winter car ever, even by poking it with a stick it would not break traction, now if I really wanted to it would be easy to misbehave but by just punching the loud pedal in the middle of a turn its not going to slide, plus its got whats probably the best heater Ive ever experienced in a car.
To make things even better the UPS truck was waiting for me when I got back home to deliver my Christmas/Birthday present. A nice box full of drugs of the LSD nature. I got a limited slip diff out of another 318ti to put on mine which should do wonders for me next autocross season, so no more of this.
Now it was a little late but that was more than excused because the guy I got it from actually found another diff and sent me that one instead which was taken out of a 318ti at 800 miles back in 1999 so the owner could do a full M3 drivetrain swap. Life is good right now.

Toyota heaters are the shit. Even on -20 days I had to turn my heater down.

It literally takes less than 2 minutes to get the car to 75 degrees no matter how cold outside. The engine on the other hand is a different story.

My engine doesn't take long to get warm, the transmission on the other hand takes like 5-10 minutes of driving before it will shift higher than 3rd gear.

My cars the exact opposite, it takes a good 5-10 minutes of driving to get the engine to idle below 1000 but the transmission is always good to go and smooth as silk.

the heater in my mr2 is better than my Tl. Might just be because the cabin is a quarter of the size, but still

I guess I just don't notice it, because I just start it and drive, but used to it did the same thing.
